Heather Turney Schmidt

A huge animal lover, Heather has many pets of her own, including 5 dogs, many cats, 2 horses, 2 pigeons and some fish. Also a passionate animal rescuer, she is the Founder and Executive Director of two non-profit dog rescues — Hollywood Huskies in Los Angeles and Halo Husky Haven in Calgary, Alberta.

Heather has shared a close kinship with animals from an early age. Through her animal communication practice, Heather works with all species including dogs, cats, horses, birds, reptiles, farm animals and exotics. She offers communication sessions in all areas including lost animals, behavioral issues, emotional issues and trauma, physical issues, end-of-life transitions and decisions, animals in spirit form, past lives, and general wellness. Her compassion and intuitive approach enables her to individualize sessions to each client’s specific needs.

Also an energy healer, Heather does Healing Touch for Animals® and is an HTA Certified Practitioner. She does energy healing on humans as well as animals, and often works with both pets and their owners.

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Heather currently lives in Los Angeles. She offers distance animal communication sessions worldwide.
